Goldfarb Admonishes Shutdown Deal Without Healthcare Guarantees
Statement from Mike Goldfarb
"This week my daughter was rushed to the emergency room; next week my wife and I will sit down and figure out if we can afford the health insurance we used for her care.
"If this system is working for you—stick with the incumbents that have gotten us here. If you’re as fed up as I am, let’s try something new.
"Voters were loud and clear last week. It is time for us to listen to them. Members of the U.S. House must push for a guaranteed vote on healthcare premiums this week, not sometime in the future; otherwise, any deal should be dead on arrival."
